What is Chickenventure?

Chickventure is an endless runner game that you control a chicken that has some special skills, such as soaring and laying eggs!

Your objective is to get as many points as possible! But to maximize your efficiency at getting points, you must learn how to dominate your skills, as they grant you extra points! Collectables such as fruits and coins also give you extra points!

When you're happy with your score, you can create an account (only username and password required) and submit your best score to the global leaderboard!

This game is available on android, web and windows.

What are the game mechanics?

Hazards:

During your run, you'll see 3 different hazard types:

• Void - Falling off a platform may lead to death! Watch out!
• Spikes - Appears on top of platforms, usually on places that would normally be safe to land.  
• Moving hazards - Hazards that are fully unpredictable. Randomly spawns during the run and usually moves towards you. 

Touching any of these hazards will instantly kill you!

Energy:   

As said before, your chicken has special skills that can give you extra points and even save you from death! But to use these skills, you need energy. But how energy works?

• Laying an egg uses 20% of your energy. 
• Soaring uses 10% of your energy per second. 
• You can lay an egg as long as you have at least 1% of energy left. 

But, how can you recover energy?

To recover energy, you need to collect fruits that randomly spawn during the run. Each fruit you collect gives you 40% of your energy back. 

Score:  

Surviving longer doesn't mean higher scores! There are multiple ways to get some extra points, as listed below:

• Collecting coins: +5 Points. 
• Surviving: +15 Points per second. 
• Laying an egg: +50 Points. 
• Laying an egg while soaring: +75 Points. 
• Soaring (for more than 1 second): +75 Points per second. 
• Collecting a fruit: +150 Points. 
• Getting close to moving hazards: +200 Points.

Controls (Desktop):

• Use A / D or Left / Right arrow keys to move horizontally.
• Use W or Up arrow key to jump.
• Hold W or Up arrow key while falling to fly.
• Press space to lay an egg.
