Gameplay

Each system is equipped with multiple layers of security, such as firewalls, encryption and intrusion detection algorithms. To break through, you’ll need to carefully analyze the defenses, follow the instructions in your hacking manual, and solve complex puzzles under extreme time pressure.

If you fail, the system fights back. Too many mistakes, and an emergency failsafe will activate, wiping your own computer to erase any trace of your involvement.

You’ll have access to several applications, including the Remote Access Trojan (RAT), a digital clock, and a target info file. But your most important resource is the Hacking Manual, a constantly changing guide that contains everything you need to break through security layers.

Every system is different, and every run presents new challenges. Work quickly, follow the manual carefully, and don’t make mistakes. Too many errors or running out of time will trigger a failsafe, wiping your own system to cover your tracks.
